This page is for those who wish to donate any amount to rescue, and/or help National Pyr Rescue during the dog days of summer. You can choose the level of your support and pay directly online.
We are into the Summer Stretch right now—the time when rescues have to stretch their budgets because adoptions are slow but the dogs are still coming into shelters. Fostering helps move dogs out of shelters but if we lack fosters, when their time is up in the shelter, dogs have to be pulled and boarded or they will be euthanized. Please consider contributing to our Summer Stretch Fund, especially if you can't foster. Donations of $25 or more will receive our "Rescue Now" car magnet. Be sure to use the Chipin Button below to donate to the Summer Stretch Fund. Other donations should use the National Pyr/PayPal button at the bottom of this page.

Rescue is a constant endeavor—not just summer—and hundreds of Great Pyrenees dogs and Pyr mixes need rescue from shelters every year. Only one-in-two dogs makes it out of a shelter. Some two million of them end up being euthanized, about 5,000 dogs each day, or one every 16 seconds. National Great Pyrenees Rescuers are dedicated to pulling dogs from shelters, caring for them and finding homes for them. This comes at no small cost, and your help is needed to continue our work.

Note that a PayPal account is not needed to make a donation.
